Aldi, B&M and Lidl

Aldi and Lidl both have them on sale starting at £16.99, but be quick as they will sell out quickly. Whilst you’re there, you might as well stock up on cheap wine for the big day!

B&Q and Homebase

B&Q is known for its outdoor products, so it’s no surprise it stocks a variety of real, pot-grown Christmas trees over Yuletide. There’s also the B&Q clearance sale on real Christmas trees with free click-and-collect happening right now! Get a 210-240cm Nordmann fir Extra large Slim Cut Christmas tree for only £14 down from £27.50.

You can also find high-quality real trees such as this Nordman Fir at Homebase for just £10 alongside all the decorations you’d need.

Homebase normally has a Xmas tree mega sale later in December for those who don’t want the tree up for too long, but they might not live up to your expectations!

Tesco

Tesco is well-known for its very cheap pot-grown trees in early December. You can get one in the larger supermarkets and ‘hypermarkets’, and if you have a Clubcard, then you can expect to pay £12.50 per tree (albeit a small one).

It is always worth looking around in your local area for trees on a budget, many pubs have people selling trees in their car parks, or splash out on a tree from a garden centre!

There is a really good offer at Studio this week for a 6ft Pre-Lit Christmas Tree with 61 Piece Silver Bauble Pack, which was £80 but is now down to £15. Note you have to have it delivered, but that is still a bargain.

It should also be noted that Asda George already has a 50% off sale on its Christmas Trees and decorations, which is surprising considering that most people haven’t get their tree up yet!

If you’re an advocate for sustainability or just allergic to pine needles, artificial Christmas trees are an eco-friendly and hassle-free option. Affordable faux trees can be found at numerous retailers such as IKEA, B&M, and Wilko.

You can get some cheap versions at The Range starting at £19.99 for 4ft Norway Spruce. But if you are on the hunt for a more luxury faux tree, it might be worth going for the John Lewis 6ft Traditional Unlit Christmas Tree at £34.30, and that’s the cheapest!
