The only paid add-ons for Fallout 76 are for premium in-game currency, cosmetics, and CAMP furnishings. For this reason, Fallout 1st is effectively a way for players to support the ongoing development of Fallout 76, although it provides plenty of exclusive in-game perks.

Ultimately, the benefits of Fallout 1st are purely optional for fully experiencing the game, but they can prove extremely useful for players who frequent Fallout 76. Many players have adopted the habit of subscribing for a month to grab all the time-exclusive rewards and then take a break between Seasons in Fallout 76. However, there's also a deal for annual subscribers that may be more valuable for some players.

The Benefits of Subscribing to Fallout 1st in Fallout 76

For players who want to experience Fallout 76 as a solo player, Fallout 1st includes access to Private World servers. Up to eight players can join a Private World by invite, but only Fallout 1st members can host them. Additionally, subscribers can create unique Fallout Worlds servers in Fallout 76, where player progression is limited, but various gameplay modifiers can be enabled, offering an experience similar to modding the game.

One of the main reasons that players continue to subscribe to Fallout 1st is the extra rewards available for each Season's Scoreboard. These rewards are often skins for outfits, weapons, armor, and power armor, as well as unique CAMP furnishings, and extra consumable buffs. Additional benefits of having a Fallout 1st subscription include a gift of monthly Atoms, free Atomic Shop Items, and exclusive Atomic Shop Deals.

Bottomless STASH storages have been a controversial topic in Fallout 76 for a while, given that these are included with a Fallout 1st subscription.
